Host an Event

HDF depends on volunteers to spread the word and raise funds for the work we do in our 5 programs. Please check out our list below for specifics on how we can help with any size event:

HOW CAN YOU HOST A SUCCESSFUL HDF EVENT?

• Build a Network and Designate Volunteer Leaders for the Following Event Needs:
• Venue and Design
• Sponsorships
• HDF Office has Sponsorship Brochures for your use
• Entertainment
• Speaker
• Ticket Sales
• Volunteers
• HDF Can Help Market Your Event in the Following Ways:
• All event tickets can be sold online at the HDF website
• The HDF office will create a basic design template that can be used by all networks each year for Save the Date, Flyers, and Emails
• If the look of the design does not fit with your event, networks can create their own design but must use the current HDF logo
• HDF can promote your event online
• Save the Date and Event Flyers can be promoted on HDF's website, main Facebook page, and can be sent to all emails in your area on a monthly and weekly basis
• HDF can even promote your event via text
• Invitations, RSVPs, and "Thank You" messages can be sent
• HDF can promote your event during our Ramadan & End of Year Campaigns
• We would be happy to send out a Save the Date and fundraising letter to members of our community in your area, along with any addresses you send us, during our two main annual campaigns
• You Can Be the Main Story on our HDF Website
• After your event, send us some pictures and information from your event, and you will be highlighted on our HOME and HDF News pages
• HDF Can Provide the Following for your Event Program:
• New HDF Documentary and Success Story videos are available yearly
• HDF brochures, banners, and fundraising presentations can be made available for volunteer events with enough time for the office to print and send
• HDF Board Members or Staff Members can attend your event to speak about the work HDF is doing on the ground
• Remember to Thank All Event Attendees and Donors after the Event and Get them Excited about Next Year!
• The HDF office will mail out acknowledgements to all donors and event attendees once their contact information and donation amount is sent to the HDF office
